cage idea

thomasboxertko Dec 09, 2003 08:26 PM

I have an idea for a cage but wanted some ideas on if it could work. It is a tall closet that you buy from home depot stores it has one center shelf. I was wondering if you could take off the front doors and put a sliding glass front on it. It is 69" tall 36" wide and 36" deep. I would also have to add vent holes and light fixtures. Any ideas? Thanks Thomas

The sliding glass would be really expensive i'm guessing. You'd need about 1/4in and have it tempered because its so big. Plus you'd need to get some heavy duty sliding track. But, the main question is will the cage or closet as it may be hold up to any buildup in humidity or scratcing or whatever you think?

also out of curiosity what are yo planning on trying to put in there?

The closet wood was a white paint on it that should hold to humidity. The top part will hold a ball python and the lower part will hold a red tail. Thomas
