Go to the gallery and search by username under Homer1. I have a step-by-step tutorial with pictures on how to make a waterfall using a false bottom setup, a fountain pump and an 18"x18" piece of pond liner (or you could use a black trash bag).

You can take some screen (aluminum) and bend it to the shape you want and then coat it with fiberglass resin like you would use on a car to do body work. I have done this with several tanks and it works great. I will try and attach a pic but not sure if it will work or not. Computer illiterate here.I know this was short but not a lot to it. If you have any questions just ask and I will try and clarify it the best I can.

I used the aluminium, and fiberglass method also. I have to agree it works great, and you can coat it with silicon/peat to make it look more natural.

I had a hard time shaping the aluminium the way I wanted, so I used some chicken wire underneath and made the shape and place the aluminium over it.

Here is a pic of my waterfall. It was created simply by pumping water up a tube onto a flat rock. From there the water pools and falls down onto other rocks and into a stream. The stream was created by siliconing wood to coroplast (which is basically plastic cardboard) and adding pebbles.
