Good Corn Snake Pet Store/Resource In Seattle?

freezermink Dec 09, 2003 08:53 PM

I just moved into the Seattle area and not long after i moved in, got my first corn snake. not sure what breed, but he's the brightest oranges and yellows i've ever seen. i can't get enough of him. now i'm looking into getting more possibly? (if my girlfriend doesn't kill me over it. heh.). i'm just wondering if anyone knows a good place in or around the seattle area to get corn snakes and feeder mice? thanks for the info-

http://www.talltree.net for feeder mice, and as for corns, there's a lady named Rhonda who sells them, Pacific NW Herp I think.

I had some for sale earlier this year, but have only one left.

thanks! i'm looking around for some new corn snakes but it will probably be a while until i can accomodate and afford.

about the feeder mice though, that looks like a great place. its certainly better than the prices at petco. i'll have to visit and check them out. thanks again-

Talltree is really honest and has some excellent quality feeders. He also delivers to the monthly Pacific NW Herp Society meetings. If you're interested: http://www.pnhs.net

Ryan,

Welcome to Seattle! I have heard good things about the Talltree's mice as well. I buy rodents in bulk online so I don't have any first-hand experience with them though (did purchase a snake from them last year -- very nice!) The Pacific NW Herp Society meets once a month at the Seattle Aquarium. Someone there may be able to direct you to other breeders of snakes and rodents. I produce a couple hundred corn snakes every year, but the pickings are slim this time of year... I only have 2-3 left. The Bean Farm is a great place for supplies. They are located in Carnation but you can purchase online from them as well. They host an annual reptile show/sale at the Puyallup Fairgrounds every October. That is where I sell many of my hatchlings. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Take care,
Ronda
