I originally built this cage for a cross between a Jungle Carpet Python and a Diamond Python. It now houses Uroplatus spp. instead.

It's 49.5" x 30" x 48". If this appeals to you I can provide you with a "cut" list.

Tough questions to answer given I really only built the carcass for friend of mine. He paid for the whole thing and did most of the finishing work. I only went back to build the false-ceiling and help apply the epoxy interior coat.

It took two sheets of oak-laminated plywood (about $29 each) from Home Depot, a box of wood screws, and a bottle of wood glue to get the carcass built.

I'll see if he kept track of the total for everything else.

Otherwise, we had Home Depot cut all of the plywood for us so that was easy. With hindsight I would have cut the plywood myself with a circular saw ran along a clamped straight edge. That would have chipped the laminated surface of the plywood a lot less.

All of the cuts were cross cuts (i.e. cut across the width). There were 4 pieces at 48" x 30" (the top, bottom and two sides), two pieces at 8" x 48" (the upper and lower lips), and the back panel cut to 40" x 48". The back panel may have been a bit taller or shorter.

I've discussed this cage quite a bit on previous posts from the last couple of months. Find those and see if you have any other questions.
