I got 2 new baby leos on wednesday of last week and they still are not eating, however, they have massive sized poops everyday?! How is this possible???? I offer them mealies everyday..usually no more then 2 end up missing and for all i know they can be escaping the dish. I put crix in there at night and they dont even come out of their hides and i end up wasting the crix everytime. Temps are good. Why these phantom poops for the past 5 days if they arent eating? I mean the poops are HUGE!

you may not be seeing them eat... but in order for them to poo, they need to eat. best thing to do is feed them and leave em alone, dont watch em or anything. as they get older and get used to you chances are they will come out and eat in front of you. you also have to realize (and i dont know how big your little baby leos are) but you might just be over feeding them and not realizing the amount of food they eat,or dont eat in this fact.
as long as they are out outwardly thin or have thin tails and continue pooping they should be just fine.
hey in a circumstance like this, where ya done see them eating POOP IS GOOD, and BIG POOP IS BETTER (as long as its not dicolored or diareah but thats a completely different can o' worms)

Five days is a long time to continue having huge poops if its from old undigested food, but I can't help wondering if the temps at the petshop (or wherever you got them) were way off. If they ate a lot but the temps there were too low to digest properly, then you've done them a tremendous favor by getting them onto appropriate temps!

Other than that, and if it continues, then they must be getting hold of a few of the crickets/mealworms.

Good luck and let us know how it goes please

What substrate do you have them on? Sometimes leos housed on sand will pass large poops of nothing but.
