ANOtHER BRUMATING QUESTION............sigh

cv768 Dec 09, 2003 10:21 PM

Ok, we've got a 3 year old male bearded dragon who has never brumated before but slowly he seems to be eating very little and pooping once every 5-6 days. He doesn't bask, and sometimes hides. This is probably just his first brumation I'm assuming???

Our other bearded's have brumated much earlier that is why I ask...any suggestions???

yeah, it sounds like brumation..
They brumate in varying degrees. From laziness to down right passed out. Some sleep for a week or so, stay up for a few days, then go back to sleep.

Sounds like brumation to me..... I have some adults that are "down for the count" right now and yet others are still running around and eating like pigs LOL

They all seem to go down at different times around here.

My guy is brumating as well - his very first! He's just under a year old.
