Are fish a safe food item

nechushtan Dec 09, 2003 11:00 PM

I posted a while ago asking if my Bull snake might eat a fish in her water bowl if we gave her one for a "snack". The reply was "probably not", but now I wonder if it is safe to try as we have a huge water pond in her terrarium and she seems to enjoy spending time poking into it. Also, we just fed her today on her aspen substrate and a small piece of aspen ended up going down with the mouse... Should she be ok?

they are safe from being eaten by bullsnakes because they are major mousers.
