LOL.
Ron is perfectly balanced and Raine is hyper-active annoyance. They do have their times though where for 48 hours they become "rocks with legs", lol. Every leo is different.

I'd recommend observing a leo (or several). It's the best way to see what they're like. If you find a good breeder nearby, they should let you look at their setup, let you watch them for a bit, and let you watch feeding. That would give you the best idea.
If you're debating leo vs. beardie, I've seen beardies who seem to love being petted/scratched under their chin. But my leo will have nothing of that. At least not yet.
Either way, every lizard is different. If you decide on a leo, pick one out of the group that seems energetic, active, and goes after food with enthusiasm.

I have two Juveniles... Both are pretty active. When I take them out to feed them they run around and wiggle their tails and pounce on the food.
One will let me hold it longer than the other and will tolerate me picking her/him up... the other is a spaz I have to chase him around a bit to get a hold of him/her. It could have to do with their age or that all of them have different personalities. I've heard they chill out when they get older.

Mine is a rock with legs. She redefines the term "inactive." She makes a sloth look like a golden retriever. From what i've read, this is rare so dont let this discourage you from buying another gecko.
