I own a western ribbon snake... I'm worried his habitat may be too humid. I read they like high humidity, then I read things about too much moisture can cause respiratory infections. One side of the cage is moist, contains live moss and plants, the other side is dry and "dead" looking. So one side is wet, one side is dry. This should be okay since he has access to a dry area, right? I'm afraid I may be concentrating on the appearance of his stetup more than my snakes needs. The terrarium looks great, but I don't want an unhappy snake.
