Georgia Bearded Dragons Dec 10, 2003 06:56 AM

Hi everyone. I am a newbie. I tried to post a Christmas picture using the URL link from the website page but I don't think the picture posted. I was replying to someones posting of their Christmas photo with bearded dragons.

I may need some coaching along on how to use this forum as I am a "new dummy" to using forums LOL

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season.

I am going to try to attach a photo of one of our future female breeders Georgia's Raspberry to this email to share with you all. Here goes - hope it works!

Got me interested in checking it out and decided to give it a try

But I can see that the picture I tried to include in my post did not take, instead it just goes to the home page of my website.

How do you get a picture to come up when someone opens a message so they can view the picture and not have to click on a link and go elsewhere?

Also, I love the way your banner came up at the bottom of one of the posts you did that I saw. How did you get that on there. I would like to use my banner as my signature so to speak when I post messages?

Thanks for the advice anyone can offer to this forum dummy

That picture worked, so I guess you have that part figured out. All you need to do is use the tools and toys button at the bottom and it will show you how to post pictures. My banner I added into the "signature" section and added the url for it.

Even though I got one of my pictures to come up in a post I still needs some educating on how to do pictures. The picture I posted is titled Georgia's Tommy Boy becomes Centerfold Model for "Playdragon" an entertaiment magazine for adult dragons.

The only reason I was able to get this picture to post was because it was aleady stored in the kingsnake.com gallery from earlier. I still don't know how to post other pictures. I am such a dummy at this and it is showing. HA HA

Thanks in advance to anyone who has advice.

Type...

[ img ]http://place the picture url here [ /img ]

Just take the spaces out and it should work

To get the image url, go to your site, click on a picture and right click, go to properties and cut and paste the image url.

This way you can post multiple pictures in one post

Good luck

Thank you Melissa for your compliments. I am known to be a slightly obsessive when I get started on a project and I have spent a zillion hours this year getting the website to what it is now.
