I have almost everything together, as of 10 days ago. My striped group is gravid right now, which is very cool. I see some others are ovulating, so it won't be long now.

When I shut the lights off in the herp room at night - about 3 minutes later, there is quite a racket coming out of there - buzzing tails, lots of scrambling around. After about 30 minutes, there is the scent of tiny little cigarettes - so something must be going on.

Golly gee whiz, Monte, how in the world can you tell when a leopard gecko is ovulating? What signs do they show? At this point I miss it completely I'd love to know what to look for!

Thanks,
Andrea A.

....but no eggs yet. Still waiting. I'll be breeding now and through mid to late spring. I have some geckos that wont be ready to breed until then.

Sunshine was attacked from my male a while ago (about 5 months ago I think) while i cleaned out their cages at the same time. She never showed any signs. But now she is. Its been about a week since I noticed anything. So we shall see.

I sent my giant male around to the females hes beeing breed to on december 1st so i should have eggs by christmas. All my other geckos from my albino line im waiting to pack on the grams, most of my females are right around 55 grams but i like them to at least be 60 grams before breeding. Everyone of the female breed to my giant male are over 80 grams. can't wait until january when i can get everyone else in on the action. Happy breeding season.
