difference between brumantion and hibernation

hey all was just wondering if tegus brumate. i know everyone talks about hibernation but cappuccino goes to sleep for a few days and then gets up, basks and waits for food. soon as he's done he'll go back in his hide spot and be missing for a few days. is he hibernating or brumating?
