Gravid Jacksons chameleon

Is it normal for a gravid Jacksons to sleep during the day? None of my other chams. did this.

No, they shouldn't be sleeping during the day, even if gravid. As a guess, the chameleon may be dehydrated (one of the most common problems, esp. w/ Jackson's). Also, there is a chance of metabolic bone disease due to calcium/nutrient depletion used for internal egg/embryo production.
I have provided a link to an excellent site that lists most common symptoms & troubles with Jackson's chams. An appointment with a herp-oriented vet may be in order.
