im not sure about n e body else but i find that the movings pictures after every post B22 makes gets kinda anoying because sometimes wen u look for a picture it will saw image n then it will show the beardie bobbin its head. could u maybe stop

If you don't like it don't read his posts.....don't ask him to stop.

That's like the trademark for his site. He's been posting them like that for over a year already. Just like others put marques or banners he has the bobbin beardie and the running super worm. Since you posted this message you are aware now he does it in every post he makes. If it bothers you that much weigh the pros and cons. Click his posts for good info or his bobbin beardie really bothers me that much that I will no longer look at his posts for the info. Another good way if all you want to see is the pics is go to the photo gallery under beardies and member galleries. Most of the pics that get posted get uploaded in there first.

i used to go thru the posts looking for "images" too and would run into the "bobbing lizard" --- it only took a few times of me doing that for me to realize just not click his posts when i was just looking for pics,,,,although I find a lot of his posts/replies usefull (i'm new to beardie-dom)---doesn't bother me any tho

I'm with everyone else on this for several reasons: 1. B22 has alot of great information and an awesome website 2. The bobbing beardie is too damn cute 3. B22 is funny as h@ll !! I think the longer you are on the forum you will appreciate it more and a little slow down like seeing the same smiling, bobbing face will just make you laugh!

lol some of u guys got pretty offended by my post...u cud have just told me it was a trademark thing he does...ya it is funny but wen u dont no the reason its there it gets anoyying wen u have a slow computer. but ya now ino.

Just hit the "stop" button on your browser and it should freeze the animations. Now everyone can be happy.

that little animation must have been tedious to do, not a quick job either. I love it. even with a slow connection and slow computer it should reside in cache and not pose a problem after beeing loaded one time.

I want to see an arm wave next!!!

annoying than the use of

"n e body"

as substitutes for a real word. You actually use more keystrokes than just typing the word. What's the point except to force people to re-read your post just to figure out what you mean?

I CAN'T be the only geezer that feels this way, but maybe the only one with flame proof skivvies...?

I second that. and the "u" instead of "you." "2" instead of to, etc... just type out the whole word :-P One time I was reading a post by some kid asking about mating his leopard geckos or something, and every time he typed the word "mate" he put "m8" instead....i had to read that post at least three times to figure out just what the heck he was trying to say, lol.

Never had a problem with B22's head bubbing beardie. At one point when I was fairly new to these forums, I compalined about his very disjointed writing..but learned English is not his first language. However, his advice is pretty good and I learned to live with the bad grammer. In fact it seems to have improved over the last year or so.

The computer geek shorthand though, is really a pain to read. (just a side note, the term 'computer geek shorthand' is not an insult directed to you, just called it that for the lack of any better way of describing the appreviated form of shorthand you and many others use).

Personally this form of shorthand shouldn't be used at all, proper spelling and grammer should always be used..cause I am starting to hear kids actually talk the way they type and it's really unnerving.

Thank you!! It has been driving me nuts and I was too afraid of coming off as a geezer which clearly I am. This forum has very little of it I must say. I am a high school teacher and the way teenagers talk is scary!

B22's a COLORFUL person and adds much , in the way of info, laughter, and just plain kindness !

some people make there a banner ,other some kind of life leson i like it if mellow yellow bobbing his head.
afcourse i can understand if you have a comodore 64 the animation is abit slow .
have you ever saw the whole movie with sound ??

i saw on the responses more people liked it then disliked it .
