How to inspire mating?

karosenberg Dec 10, 2003 02:33 PM

I have a male housed with two females. They have been together for about two and a half months. Do I just wait for them to breed on their own? I tried breifly putting a new male in with the three (I was holding onto him) but, I don't think anything has happened since. My geckos are all virgins, does that have a lot to do with it? They are all old enough and mor eimportantly weigh enough- the male is at 36.8grams and the females are 51 grams. Thanks! Katherine

Well you might want to try lowering the temps to about 70-75 for about 2 weeks then go back to the normal temps. this makes the leos think its a new season. it in some way stimulates the male and females breeding habits ( i read this on a site so im not sure it works but im sure it does) good luck
