I just got one yesterday in the mail, and my two young females Myah & Kiya are enjoying it, and slept on them all night together. Mine have not pooped on them yet, but I can tell ya that the material is smooth and non porous on one side so it should not soak in at all to stain. I like them, and eventually I'm going to switch all my cages over to having one under the basking spot. They just love basking up on the hammocks, and if you use a fluorescent tube it is a lot easier to get them up closer to the bulb to benefit from the UVB rays.

My dragons all love having hammocks. Almost all of my cages, with the exception of the 10 gallons, have hammocks. The ones I have are made of green vinyl type plastic mesh and are easy to was off under running water. It is also great because you can adjust their basking site. I use both cork bark flat pieces for climbing up and down as well as offering them the hammocks to lounge in with both of these being under the heat lamp.

I have one adult male that loves his so much he stays in it all day like an old man and his recliner LOL (sorry for all you old guys out there but it is true) Even when he poops he doesn't get out of it he just backs his behind back over the edge and does his business.

I would highly recommend everyone having a reptile hammock in addition to their other basking sites. WE LOVE THEM.

Hi Christij. The one thing I think I really like about your hammock designs (like you stated in your website) is that the dragons don't have all the little holes to catch their toes nails in like on the mesh hammocks which is what I have.

I also think there is another added benefit to your hammocks and that is appears that it will also offer the dragons a shady spot underneath if they want to "go hide" under something. Mine sometimes like to lay underneath theirs.

Love the design improvements and quality improvements you have over the other name brand you find at the retail stores.

Good Job

My poor Wayne (my first beardie) had his toe nail ripped out on a mesh one, hence my alternative hammock.
A new toe nail never grew back so it HAD to hurt, it ripped out from the root of the nail.
I threw that thing away so fast!! But, poor Wayne missed his hammock so I had to come up with something.
It's been 3 yrs since he lost his nail, but that toe is fatter then his other toes, it looks deformed. I shoulda sued!!...lol
Anyway...He's better now.
