Baby variable king-less than a foot long. Clicking noise

surfdude660 Dec 10, 2003 04:26 PM

I have a baby variable king snake and he is not too old. Since i bought him a month ago, he has shed once and eaten once. Every so often when i hold him, i will hear a clicking noise. What could this be. He is kept in a shoe box with a rock and a small water dish. The temperature is about 72-74 in the cool end and about 84 at the warm end. He is very calm and loves to be held. He is also very active while being held. He hasnt eaten in two weeks. I wonder if he has a broken jaw and eating is painful. Does anybody know what the problem could be? If so, please tell me, i am starting to worry. Also, how long can a little snake like this go without food?
