How do you put a price on snakes?

amelcorn Dec 10, 2003 05:46 PM

I'm thinking of getting out of my corns and was wondering how to price them correctly. This is what I have and was wondering if someone could give me some prices. Males- Adult amel- het anery, Adult ghost. Females- Adult zigzag snow, adult normal, sub adult females- crimson, motley anery, candy-cane, juvenile females- caramel het butter, okeetee, '03 hatchlings- unsexed normal het ghost-3. Thanks for any info.

I would suggest checking out the forums to see what the going rates are on some of them. Size, age, overall condition and whether or not you have bred them may impact the price. What did YOU pay for them, and do you expect to get that money back?
Do you want to try to sell them as a lot to a breeder/dealer?
Keep in mind that most of your common morphs are not bringing down big bucks these days. See the post from several days ago about people hardly being able to give them away in some areas.
Is there a regualar reptile show in your area? This could be both a place to check out prices and a potential place to sell.
Are you more interested in getting some of your $ back, or do you just want to find "good homes" for your former pets. Good luck. Duffy
