I have fed my collareds some of the beetles that mealworms eventually form into. They really seem to like them. Is there anything wrong with feeding them these beetles on a long term basis? Thanks for any help, Lucas

that start out as brownish hairy little worms , they sometimes are in my cricket orders, and then they turn into a little black shelled bug that flies.
Some of my collareds love them as worms, and when they turn. A variety is a good thing, as long as theirs no pesticides on the bugs, go to town, hehehheh LOL Eve
because i find that the tenebrio beetles are too small, well the collareds do ive never tried em yet-and the zoophobas beetles seem to taste funny or something(my bro ate 1,lol)because after the collareds get through that extra tough chittin they spit em out never to look at them again
But if your collareds are eating them i dont think there would be a problem.
