Do your snake rooms or rooms where you keep your corn collection smell. As you can guess retics sure as heck do. Feel foolish for asking this never kept more then 1 colubrid at times and just hoped face first into the big ones. Any input would be great just wanna gauge the smell

I have a smallish room with corns, rats,milks, kings and ball pythons. It doesn't smell unless the cages are dirty.

and thats what i love about our pets. i own 1 corn snake at the moment, but i have also owned a tokay gecko, ribbon snake, and two large tarantulas. people always ask me, "why do you keep these pets?" i always tell them that they don't smell, they don't make noise, they don't poop in the neighbors yard, they are inexpensive to own, they're addictive and fun and keep. they just don't get it. sigh... heh.

I keep them in my living room, and with 11 of them in here you still wouldn't know there was anyone in the cages. I have 4 cats......corns can't compare to that smell! lol

The only time I get any stink is if someone passed on a meal and it's in the cage the next morening...(mice get raunchy after a night thawed, but I spose you know that) Or when my big snow lady has a two rat meal and lets go a Retic size poop. Other than that, I think they're pretty smell-less.

Smaller snakes smaller poops less smell.I keep boids also and i use newspaper as a substrate.I dont spot clean, i clean,clean.No smell here unless one of them drops me a present.....Paul.
