RETF clarifications needed

shopaholic Dec 10, 2003 10:58 PM

Please clarify for me, as reading all the sites/posts have made the issue somewhat unclear:

1. To have a successfully breeding RETF program, what is the best mixture/ratio? a pair, a trio or a group?

2. What is the size enclosure to provide?

3. Can a rainbar be made to attach to the exisiting tank or does one HAVE to make a separate rainchamber to induce?

4. Correct substrate to use? Can I use similar substrate as I do for my dart frogs?

Thank you very much-Maggie

Oh no, not at all!!! I plan on the 1 Cham this year(2004) and perhaps a 2nd depending on my learning curve, and putting in a new rack of 6-9 pairs of darts, and 2-4 groups of tree frogs. The RETF were already in the works, and the Cham is for sure unless something drastic not yet foreseen changes my mind. Believe me, I will be asking a MILLION questions of you. Thanks Maggie
