Will you guys post any pictures of gravid females? I'm looking to tell if mine is gravid as it doesn't look anything like the bulging-every-which-way corn shown in Kathy's book.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I *think* mine is gravid. =P
My two mated 6 times, and she had her "pre-lay shed" 8 days ago, and she doesn't look at all like the picture in the Love book either.
I posted above about the palpation results I found, are you finding similar results when you palpate? =P
Here's a picture of her taken May 27th, 2003 (day after her shed):
She looks "full" to me, compared to her usual appearance. Yet isn't obese looking like the gravid corn snake pictures I have seen.
Post a picture of your female in question if you would, I would like to see what she looks like.

Here's my amel. She was bred 3/8, this pic was taken 4/4 and she laid 17 eggs on 4/27. She looks pretty big here, but she was pretty chunky compared to my other corns to begin with. The ghost is the male she bred with - he's a scrawny guy.

Also, she's about 37" long.
