Normally I dont pay much mind to the news but this flu thing is for real. I can see why children have been dieing from it. Ive been running a high fever for almost 3 days and the headache alnoe is enough to make me wish someone would shot me and put me out of my misery. Im not looking for simpathy just get your flu shots espacially your children. My other half keeps the kids shots all up to date thank god for that because I would hate to see them feeling like I do. I have never felt this horrible in my entire life from the flu

we had to take him to the ER this morning, when we laid him down for bed last night he was fine 45 minutes later he awoke running a high fever and couldnt hold anything down, he been like that all night till his fever hit 102-103, i dunno some scary stuff

I am sorry to hear that. I hope you child is feeling better soon. I have a 16 month old son and he has not received the vaccine. I started looking as soon as I heard that the vaccine was in short supply. Now I can't find it anywhere. The whole thing is very scary to me. He is not in day care and we have been washing are hands like crazy to avoid pasing him new germs. I almost feel a little crazy worrying about it. I was in the ER in Iowa City and whole families were coming in with kids spewing into cups in the waiting room. That was nearly two weeks ago and luckily I was not infected. The person I took to the ER was but not too badly. Anyway I hope this passes soon and that people use good hygeine to help stop spreading this virus.

thank god he seems to be a little better this morning, he couldnt hold anythhing at all down, when he went in yesterday they gave him something to settle his stomach and it worked, they kept him a few hours for observation, so weve been feeding him tylonel like mad since, the poor kid hasnt gotten up once yet laying on the living room floor sleeping, hell wake up long enough to to suck a bottle done then back to sleep he goes, hes got a little more color this morning so hopefully hell be back up and running today, my better half said to say dont panic about the vaccines, her and all the kids got them and all got sick, so this is a differant strain, with the kids though if they start puking take them right in to the docs and get the storng meds to stop it, DO NOT WAIT, they dehydrate fastits scary our son started yacking till he seen the doc he couldnt hold anything down, two sips of water would cause massive dry heaves, I dunno anyway thank you guys for your words and wish yall the best of luck
