What is your opinion on sunburn?

doc holiday Jun 02, 2003 09:05 PM

Dose a 5 - 10 minute exposure to direct sunlight in the Northern
U.S cause sunburn in amelamistic cornsnakes? I just had one unexpectedly
go into a shed two days after having him outside for approx. 7 mins.

Not that I am an expert, but I belive snakes don't get sunburned...The only 'animals' able to get sunburned are humans and pigs (funny huh?)...Have you noticed a color change? I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just keep an eye on him/her.
