Anyone had experiences with the following species.... Gekko smithii, Paroedura masobe, Paroedura bastardi?

How are they for keeping? Looking into getting one of these species, and can't choose which. I'm thinging about the smithii since I love my tokays so much, but the P. masobe look pretty neat too. Also, I am NOT one for species mixing at all, but I've talked to several people who say they keep smithii with their tokays - wouldn't there be territorial problems? I know they are from the same region and genus. I have a 260 gallon enclosure with 1.1 tokays. Would it be foolish to see how a green-eyed female would do with the tokays (after quarantine/deworming of course)? Thanks!!!

I can probably eliminate one for you. P. Masobe are very sensative and hard to work with. Unless you're very experienced with geckos & have done your research, I wouldn't recommend them.

The last poster was correct P. masobe are like Goniurosaurus if the Paroedura genus. They are very rewarding though when cared for correctly, but you may want to wait. Also, you should not mix species any species no matter how "closely" related they are deemed. They have different requirements and size differences more than not cause problems (territorial, being just one). P. bastardi are really great geckos. They are alot like P. picta (was pictus), but like to climb a bit more. They are not as conventionally attractive as picta, but then picta aren't the most beautiful themselves. They are hardy geckos nonetheless, but it is hard to find CB specimens. I would not buy WC, because there are so many WC bastardi within the U.S. which need to be bred so less are imported even for the low market on them. Cool geckos, can be fiesty...
Hope that helps.
