Finally they are in their new homes

RedQuake Dec 11, 2003 01:08 PM

Well i did it. Both Dot and Abby are in their 10 gal tanks. Dot has spent most of her time checking out things and then laying out in the open over the UTH. They were at floor level but now they are on the first and second shelves up high and Dot has been checking out everything outside the tank too Abby.......well she went straight into her humid hide and hasn't come out. She is peeking outside of it though so i guess she's curious, just not enough to come right out. Oh, i spoke to soon......there she goes....out and about WOOHOO

I'm going to go out and get those 20 gal long tanks from Petsmart after my Christmas shopping is done. I can't not do gifts so i'm going to get small stuff for my family, socks etc, things we need hehehe. OH i wish i had a digital camera right now.....I haven't seen Abby out like this is ages!!!

I can't stand the look of this unit with one section being 2 10 gal tanks, the next 2 15 gal and the last section 2 20 gal long tanks......it looks really off, so i'll have to pick up a 20 gal whenever i have the extra cash.

Now that thats done, i have to clean my room, i have stuff everwhere lol. Maybe if i feel ambitious tonight i'll have my brother help me move the 40 gal over to the desk and then switch Boo and Zoes tanks.

I'll try to get pics asap

Sounds like it'll work great for them, and later when you add larger tanks they'll have an even bigger place to explore. WooHOo! Fun watching them enjoy something you spent time putting together, eh?

They sound well set up, have fun with family, and um.... ask for gift certificates to your local petsmart! For you, that's as practical as socks.

I'd love to see a photo of your whole rack and of your babies. er .. leos. You know what I mean. Have fun watching those critters, and keep us up to date!

It is a blast watching them check out a new home. Especially since i spend alot of time and try to make the tanks as homey as possible I did get money for my birthday to get more under tank heaters. Hopefully i'll get gift certificates for Christmas.......but my brother has already hinted that he's getting me another 20 gal long tank hehehe....i can't wait The 2 girls are now curled up sleeping, Abby in her hide, Dot out in the open. This is so cool, i can see them alot better.
