At least you got an answer. The whole episode was a terrible loss. Hope we never see anything like this happen again. Thanks for posting the answer.

Shipping bills paid for (a few other shipping expenses wiped clean).And yes, they are sending a contract in writing that covers live arrival and full value of animals insured delivered, to the shipper, this is from corporate headquarters.
They stated they dont know how this package was put where it was because live animals are put in a heated pressurized cabin in the plane. But that this could happen because of the volume of frozen shrimp and beef delivered around the holidays.
