what do you think of this?

i am looking at the polyethelene diamond mesh. to my completely inexperienced eyes it looks ideal. any thoughts

I use the stuff. It is good because it is smooth and non abrasive so active snakes won't nose rub. I wouldn't put heat directly on it though.
