ATB caging questions...

Bammer Jun 02, 2003 09:39 PM

I am about to get a pair of Amazons and I was wondering about using tubs, what size should be used for one amazon? Is anyone has pics of thier setups of anykind, that would be great.

This caging would be temporary until I saved up to buy a big cage for the pair.

Also, Can an adult amazon tree boa be housed in a 20 gallon long stacked upright?

I was told not to do this by one experienced emerald and amazon breeder, But I then read it on a caresheet of another experienced emerald and amazon breeder, so I have conflicting thoughts. WHat are your opinions?

If I set them up in 20 gals that would also be temporary.

Thanks in advanced. I am so excited about getting some amazons! I miss my old one...

Hey,
A 20 gallon would be fine till you got a bigger cage, just don't have it as a perment cage. Go to my web page for detals on my cage, and there should be some pictures as well, e-mail me if there is not. I would go into more detal like I usaly do, but im in a rush,
Hope this helps.
Philip
