I'm new here and to corn snakes as well. Just wanted to say hello and give a little info.
I've always loved snakes in general, but untill recently havent been able to have any of my own. Now I, well me and the girlfriend, have 3 corn snakes.
It started with a trip to a local pet store to find food for our eastern newt Robin. We saw a small tank with a 2 baby corns in it. An Amel and a snow. The GF fell in love with the amel and we walked out of the place with her. The next day I went back and bought the snow. We were hooked.
Since then we have learned a lot. The snow (Powder) has since passed away... even our vet cant say exactly why... and we have 2 more corns.
We visited a local convention and found Kathy Love. I wanted a Bloodred, and she had a hypo. bloodred so I naturaly had to have it. We also got a Motley from her as well.
We love our snakes and will probably end up with a bunch more. I already want a few different morphs, as dose the GF... But we figure we will give our selves time to get the hang of taking care of the ones we have before getting more of them. Kind of make sure we are going to be good snake parents.
I'll post pics of them as soon as I can.
Later!

I have a pair of her normal bloods here, and they're starting to look more and more red with every shed. I think she said one or the other of my pair may be het hypo, and I'm sort of hoping they both are. Hypo bloods look beautiful as adults. But so do normal bloods, so I just can't wait till they get that adult coloring. Just wait till they get big enough and you decide to attempt a breeding! LOL
