Supers make great staple diets. I use them for both my leos. They get their attention better I find since they're so big and move so much. The only downfall I hear is their harder to breed than mealies. Hope this helps

My leos don't seem interested in the super worms....my male looked at them and then looked away...could they be too big?

Thanks

I have one gecko that used to turn her nose up to them, until I offered her a few white, freshly shed ones. She loved them & now regular or fresh sheds are readily accepted by her. They're a staple diet for 3 of my 4 leos. I can't keep them in the dishes & just feed one or two by hand per feeding to each gecko. One of my girls eats 2 per meal, once or twice per week & is maintaining her weight. The other 2 are putting on weight & will eat one or two per day.

I do the same thing you do. Personally, I like doing it that way, because it's my time with my geckos.
