Snake size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lo all,

My pine snake just shed (this second), the skin came off in ne go, suprising!!!!! I measured the skin and it was pretty mch 2 meters bang on. I thought the record was 6ft 11.

Does the skin actually become longer when they shed????

or is this the real size of EL dude..

Its [bleep] cool though

The skin stretches when they shed and can stretch quite a bit especially if they were recently soaking in the water bowl.
If it's skin was 6ft it is definatly pretty good size though.

I hope my black pine reaches 6ft. it's impressive to see full grown pines reach such enormous sizes. Measuring shed's can be inaccurate, and a lot of other methods have large margins of error. I use the snake measurer program to get records of my snakes length. The link can be found here:
