Yeah...I de-bone all my hamsters first. If you pull on the hamsters tail really fast at a 45 degree angle all the bones will come out in one piece. I then sale the skeletons to my friends as dinosaur bones. The boas don't really care much for boneless hamster so most of time I just use these spineless rodents as hacky sacks. When I'm done with them I sale them to my friends as hacky sacks.
I also feed them chicken from time to time. They get the good stuff...nuggets from KFC. These aren't really chicken nuggets though, they are roster nuggets (chickens don't have nuggets.) But the boas don't really like them much so I sale them to my friends as hacky sacks.
Oh...you wanted a real answer? lol
Humanly killed frozen and thawed hamsters would make a fine diet except that they have a much higher fat content than mice and rats. A diet of only hamsters would make quite a fat boa. A boas digestive fluid is very acidic and can break down bones with no problems. Bone is a must in the complete diet of snakes because that is were the much needed calcium comes from.
Chickens or any other poultry is not recommended because of the risk of salmonella contamination.
You are best to stick with mice and rats.

Also, pieces of animals, like chicken legs, don't have the required nutrients that are in whole animals.

...feeding chicken to snakes is a GREAT way to inoculate them with Salmonella, and to expose yourself as well. Hamsters are fine-boas can digest them as well as other rodents.
