Iguana Joe, i found out why the iguana wasnt eating...

we took him for a fecal sample today and turns out he has pinworms. So we are going in tomorrow to have him checked out and all that stuff. Also he still isnt eating but is running around like any normal iguana would do. Anyways just thought that maybe u'd want to know.

Having any pet, domestic or exotic, de-wormed is always one of the first priorities. No matter how healthy an animal looks, or how active, that doesn't mena something might be lurking inside.

You did a very smart thing bringing the animal for a fecal examination. A lot of iguana owners don't care enough for their iguanas and pretend nothing is wrong, and eventually the animal dies.
