day vs. night. nocturnal?

freezermink Dec 11, 2003 11:21 PM

so my corn is thus far pretty low key. i'll see him a couple times a day but usually he's in his little half-coconut thinking of his latest escape plans. but the last couple of nights after i've turned the lights off, i've gotten up (3-4 in the morning), and he's been out and chillin on the branches, wandering around. is this coincidence or are corn snakes usually more nocturnal?

They are crepuscular (sp). They come out usually around dusk and dawn, when their prey would normally be active.
