I can see that there's quite a difference between how babies look and how adults look, also between males and females.
I posted earlier about how I named my critters based on minor details of collar patterns. The reason I picked that was I guessed that the collars are the things that might stay the same, but how true is that?
Would you folks expect that if someone was given the picture below and a similar picture from when they are two years old, that they would be able to reliably match the lizards from both pictures? It seems obvious to me that the dots change. Do the collars completely change too?
Or what's the scoop?
