2 or 4 pre frontals in Pits...how about both!...PICS

Shannon brought up an interesting point about his McGurty albino having only 2 pre frontal scales. From what I've seen, they actually will have either two or four pre frontals depending upon the snakes. Upon closer inspection I noticed something else also. The animal with 2, semms to have split (4) parietals as well. Here's two pics showing the traits. Maybe there's a reverse formation going on. Anyone else have comments/observations, please chime in.

i used to have a bull snake from douglas county colo, and he had 6 prefrontals and i had a west texas bull with only3. i believe they should have four but there is no doubt in my mind that they were pure animals, nice pics thanks for posting.
