question about python timorensis

i was wondering if anyone from this forum keeps python timorensis. i,m trying to get as much info as I can on this species. if you got this species can you tell me something about the character of the animals is it the same as wc scrubs and retics or are they calmer.

They are definitely a beautiful species, and a bit on the lively side as far as handling goes. I would say this is a species that does not particularly enjoy handling, but will tolerate it. In some cases, they will excrete as an initial response to being handled (just a warning if you keep these guys in areas where there is carpeting), but rarely actually bite (I have 12 of these guys, one of which is definitely a little nipper, perhaps lunger, but other than that one they are all fairly easy to hold). They are an active snake during handling, therefore, if you want something a bit more laid back (and tolerable to handling) and a bit more exotic than a burm, perhaps consider an olive python.
