Another Timmy Question

azlunchbox Dec 12, 2003 01:19 PM

Well Poor lil Timmy is still having problems. Still not really eating....Still looking skinny. This really sucks!

But i had a question.....you see......he's hardly eating at all.....but he somehow still manages to poop on a regular basis.

So uhhhh......how is that possible? lol.....i mean he has nothing being digested to get rid of! lol

hmmm and yeah i still don't know what to do.....he's warm enough....he's active during the day....he's well hydrated....I've tried Crickets, Mealworms, Wax Worms.....tried snapping the back legs off the crickets.....tried taking all his stuff out of the cage to feed him.....tried putting him in a seperate feeding container.
i dunno what to do.....he seems more interested in licking the sand then eating food lol.
that and he still spends most of his free time running against the glass. Does he need a bigger cage or something?

Hmmmm i don't know what to do!!!!!!! lol

thanks

-Matt-

I have a male that has slowed his eating to prepare himself for brumation. I was going to start his brumation before christmas but recently found out that when I travel home I will be able to pick up a female friend for him. To avoid having them brumate at different times I ended the preparation for brumation. Someone should have told him. He will only eat a minimum of food (one to two superworms every couple of days), so I have resorted to hand feeding him. I hand feed him two superworms per day. He dislikes all the handling but will eat if food is lightly pressed agoinst his mouth. I am trying to fatten him up again.

I know this is long-winded but I hope it helps.
