I am so proud of my female. She layed her first clutch this afternoon quite to my suprise. I didn't think my male was "ready" yet. She layed 21 eggs in all. Not bad for a first clutch! Everything seems to be in order, now is just a waiting game. I would like some info from those of you who have had clutches before. What can I expect? How long does it take for the eggs to hatch?? What about temps and humidity?? When can I candle to check to see if the eggs are in fact fertile?? Any info from those of you experienced in hatching clutches would be greatly appreciated. I would really like for this clutch to hatch out. My male is a bright, gorgeous orange and the female is a normalxGerman giant. Can't wait to see what I get! Thanks again for any info!
