Very interesting artical...will have to check and see if my local vet can get fecal EM tests. Probably have to freeze it and send it down to Toronto....

initial onset of it and almost all that do survive the onset will have problems and usually not thrive well.... A small handful will contact it and not show signs, reaching adulthood. Its in their offsping that it is often found the adults have it. The mother often dies following egg laying, as it is a drain on their system that is already weak. As far as anyone knows, they will be carriers for life.

We've tried to get a pet store in Tucson, AZ to stop carrying and selling ones that we know are infected, but they claim the breeder told them a vet said if they survive for 4 weeks they can be sold... so we expect to see another round of it breaking out in that area, plus the breeder that is selling them to this store probably is selling them to others also.
