I have a Fishers Chameleon. I've read many places that the set up is nearly the same as a Jacksons. They do tend to enjoy more plants, higher humidity, and lower max temp than Jackson. I'll try to get a picture of my full set up. They are rather active and love to climb around. So put in a lot of vines and branches. Mine is about 3 1/2 inches in a 38"x16.5"x16.5"x30". Hope that helps!

well, thanks anyway, but he died. They found him dead in his temporary setup this morning. I think stress did him in, he was eating alright yesterday, but im sure he wasnt warm enough and he probably just got too stressed and died.

Theyre cool looking chams though, i might have to do some research and get one.

This is very sad to hear. I have to admit when I heard "... when his setup comes in" bothered me. Who made the decision to get the cham without having a setup and keeping info in place ahead of time??? I'm sure you know this is not the way to go about it. Fischeri are almost always imports needing quick attention to humidity, parasites and stress. Having one in an office setting would be very hard on the animal. Many of them are a bit nervous and so active they get frustrated easily by the wrong type of enclosure. They are not always very tolerant of being observed either. Some are, but you can't count on it. A good breeder who has produced some cbb fischeri is Kammerflage Kreations, but I doubt they would place one of theirs in an office. Their site has good keeping info though.

FYI, Fischeri are Bradypodion, not Chamaeleo species. Go to www.adcham.com and www.geocities.com/ccicenter for species info.
