I REALLY NEED SOME HELP! How do I...

lazandlouie Dec 12, 2003 08:50 PM

Ok, i got the stuff. I bought some rep-cal calcium, and some rep-cal herptivite, and about 25-30 crickets for the next 3 days for my few month old frill. I want to know how to do this. I know how to put the crickets in the bag and shake it, but how much of what do i put in the bags, do i put all 30 crickets at once or just do half or what, and how often, everyday? I really appreciate everyones help. Thanks!!

well! what i do with my bearded dragons is put as many as ur going to feed to the bd, put the calcium and stuff in the shake let it sit for like 10 sec and then place crickets in the tank but dont just dump the whole bag gently slide them out so you dont get all the extra calcium in the tank.
that is what i do for bearded dragons but it could be didferent for frills but i dont no.

Hi,

Just put 5-6 crickets in the bag and put some powder in it (4x a week vit., 3x calcium ) Just try to get the crickets white, you'll get the hang of it. Make sure the frilled eats them strait away, so if you have the time for it feed it with forceps, if not put the crickets in a bowl so they can't run away that fast.If the frilled doesn't eat them within 15 minutes or so the crickets will lose the powder on them. Unfortunatly the use of vitamins with lizards is not exact sience yet, much is unknown. This feeding scedule has worked for me though. If it gets bigger, try to feed it (also powderd) pinkies, they have a lot of calcium and vit. in them.

Good luck, Jasper
