help please

help! my female iggy is alway in her cave she never comes out and when there is food she never eats it when we got a male to get ready to breed. she been going in her cave. i dont have something blocking them from seeing one another but their caves are back to back and the barly see one another maily bc igg is in her cave so much. if anyone can help me i would love it

How old are they? She may be brumating. Also, you're not keeping the male and female living together all the time, right? That is a sure fire way to stress the crap out of your female.

i am not keeping in the same tank but there tanks are right next to each other she is about 2yrs coming this xmas. they can see each othere be they barly ever do.

iggy? as in iguana? I would suggest asking your question on the iguana forum instead of the bearded dragon. However, if she is spending all her time in her cave I would say it's a health issue and I wouldn't breed her till you discover what is wrong by taking her to a qualified vet and treat her.

Oops, did you mean an iguana? I just figured that was your dragons name. Disregard my post then, I don't know anything about iguanas.
