My Lep just layed eggs...

lilaughingwolf Dec 13, 2003 03:12 AM

My leopard gek, Muka, just layed two eggs, she is normally a very docile and friendly gek but she is not letting anyone near her "nest", she even tried to bite me(in the two years of haveing her she has never done that)Should I force her off her nest or leave her alone?

Leave her alone. If she just laid them, she'll rest a bit before trying to bury them. If you take them too early, she'll go back and spend a long time searching for her eggs. Just give her time to finish doing her job.

Thanks!...She has left them this morning for some apple sauce, seeing my chance I moved them and she is back to normal.
