Deppei Deppei not eating

calvo Dec 13, 2003 10:37 AM

I have a pair of Deppei Deppei, the male is still eating and the female has gone off her food,

I am not particularly worried at the moment as it has only been 2 weeks but i would like to know if this is normal for the time of year and the temperature (December and moderatly cold)

any information would be most appreciated

Andy

most of my stuff stopped eating in late sept.[i am locality specific to philadelphia] and have been in brumation for 2 months now.......if she continues to fast, i'd cool her down so she doesn't lose weight. if the male wants to keep eating, let him. he'll let you know when he's done just as the female is doing now.

Are your snakes Phila. locality, or do you mean that's where you are located? I am from the Phila./South Jersey area and I've been looking for some Pit enthusiasts in this area to get together with. Anyone else out there from this area?
