I was wondering if it would be possible to keep a juvenile trans pecos rat w/ my tx rat that I have. I know they are from different areas but just wondering if i could to make an interesting set up and save a little cash. Thanks and Gig Em.

Not a good idea. First of all, as Ginter once explained thoroughly on another forum, snakes are solitary creatures in the wild. Second, Texas rats tolerate different levels of humidity than are acceptable for subocs. I don't know if you monitor humidity levels for your snakes, but I do know that subocs have to be kept with very low humidity or there will be problems. Hope that helps!
Thats what I figured. Thanks for the reply. I do reef tank setups as well and have had luck pushing the envelope for what is actually possible but I know the humidity thing is a big deal w/ these guys. Dont want ne problems w/ shedding and skin. I was just curious if its been done b4. Thanks and Gig Em.
