While checking today on all my brumating snakes I found my 6yr old female Brooksi curled up inside her waterbowl soaking wet and, of course, quite cold. This is my first year brumating and not sure what to expect but feel that this is not right. I changed her aspen bedding and dried her off and replaced her but concerned that she may just get back into her bowl. Is this normal? She shows no signs of ill health, or mites. Should I remove the bowl and only offer it occasionally? Or what? Thanks for replies.
