Well, it is war. If they guy they shot was an enemy who was shooting back at them earlier, then good for them. If it wasn't safe for our troops to go pick him up as a war prisoner after the first shot, then I think shooting him again was the right thing to do. If he was a civilian, of if it was safe to capture him after the first shot, then it's not so good. Wish it wasn't such a short clip so I could get a better feeling of what the entire situation was. It's obvious that there was a great deal of adrenaline flowing during the interview.

Reminds me of the police beating that happened a week ago or so that gave you a totally different impression when you saw the entire tape and that the police were attacked first. Some news shows only showed the beating, and some responsible ones showed the entire tape with the initial attack on the police and police screaming "put your hands behind your back" the entire time. Just shows how small clips can manipulate and show anything you want by not allowing the larger picture to be seen.

I agree a longer clip would be better. What do you think about them laughing after he killed him? They seem very laid back..

I think that's just a response from coming down from the adrenaline rush while still being a little amped-up. Plus his buddies were probably watching so there is some "machismo" mixed in as well. Not very attractive.
