Hmm.. They look like they could both easily take large rats, IMO.. You wouldn't believe how much they stretch. They're the retic of the colubrid world. You want to beef them up if you plan on breeding them. Takes alot out of the female.. Mine were absolutely emaciated after laying, and they're chubby beauty snakes.
Yup.. 20" silver.. He'll shortly be in a 100gal like he needs.. Just need to find a stand sturdy enough to support the tank. lol. I like blacks alot, but most do not stay black.. Usually just have a thin black line around the border of thier fins.. otherwise look like silvers.. Feed em a good diet, and they really pick up in color.. Mine has salmon pink tiger barred fins, and a purplish/silver body, and bluish/green along the top.. He rocks..
>>Ya, I am feeding my female medium rats. I dont have smalls for the male, so I gave him two jumbo mice. I will be getting more rats soon.

>>Also, alittle of topic, On your site you say you have an arowana? I have been considering one for awhile and I was wondering how you house yours. Soon I will be getting a 100 gallon tank for now. I can not decided between a black or silver arowana. If you want to keep this off the forum, you can email at Blackcerebrate@aol.com. Thanks in advance.
